We are now looking for a Ruby On Rails Developer willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team.

 

Main responsibilities

• Support in the design, development and implementation of new features to improve the scalability and feature set of the platform
• Production, modification and maintenance of the web application and user interfaces;
• Working closely with Product Managers and Client;
• Putting your Ruby experience to good use on several applications, written mainly with Rails frameworks;
• Going through the entire development life cycle as part of a collaborative team, you will be expected to suggest ideas and improvements at every turn.

Skills

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar;
• 2 – 5 years relevant work experience;
• Strong experience with Ruby and at least one framework - ideally Rails;
• Proven experience seeing projects through from the initial idea stage all the way through to release and beyond;
• Knowledge and experience of developing web applications and APIs, alongside making sure everything is highly scalable;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Strong English knowledge, good interpersonal skills and team player.
