Chosen by our clients out of the ability to break down complexity and by the quality of services and solutions we develop, we are continually working on a close symbiosis between functional and technological expertise. We combine solid business skills with the ability to implement conceptual models on a computer system, and we are able to reflect conceptual complexity into practical simplicity as faithfully and as reliably as possible.

We operate in a sector that is, by nature, highly competitive and where the barriers to entry are relatively low and very sensitive to change in a general economic context. However, Closer's scope and behavioural stance mitigates these threats in an almost natural manner. Closer's consulting services and solutions are geared towards specific challenges and focus on areas of high strategic value and pressing operational needs (i.e. with CONTEXT and SVD). On the other hand, the quality of our services generates competitiveness for our clients, contributing significantly to the reduction and variability of costs (i.e. with process assurance and outsourcing), risk reduction activities (i.e. with risk management and PEARSON) and providing more accurate and appropriate information for decision making (i.e. with business intelligence and MIRA), among others aspects. That factor is for us, our greatest risk mitigation factor, this is because a more efficient client reallocates resources to projects that are strategically more important.

We cannot also miss pointing out the distinctiveness of our multi-disciplinary and high seniority teams (which translates into security for our clients) and, finally our ongoing commitment to research and development, bringing innovative and economic solutions to market, which is the result of our behavioural perspective and agility. Our staff is composed of highly valuable professionals, with different academic degrees, from bachelor graduates to doctoral graduates in various fields of knowledge. This allows to place several knowledge sources together to solve daily challenges and find unique solutions where previously insurmountable problems existed. Since its inception, Closer has collaborated with the most prestigious universities in the country, contributing to several academic theses that are related to Closer projects as well as participating in major international conferences, giving voice to our mission: "Challenging Complexity".

The elements that we have presented as weapons for the challenges we face are objectively observable in Closer's financial and comercial performance, past and present. Altough Closer started its activity in 2006, having gone through its first years immersed in a harsher economical climate, the company had a sustainable and considerable growth, both in revenue as well as in economical results.
